Die Serie thematisiert das Spielen als Kind in der Natur, das so-tun-als-ob. So tun, als ob die Höhle das neue Zuhause wäre. So tun, als ob man niemals wieder zurückkehren müsste. Es wohnt und kriecht ein Wesen in seiner Höhle, ungesehen zwischen den Steinen lebend. Ungreifbar, menschlich und doch Teil der Felsen. Beeren schauen verlockend zwischen den Blättern hervor. Spiele aus Kindheit werden neu gedacht.

 

Ich wuchs in der Harzer Berglandschaft auf. Der Wald beherbergte mich als erweitertes Kinderzimmer. So thematisiere ich ihn auch in der „Recapitulation“.

The series explores playing as a child in nature, the make-believe. Pretending that the cave is the new home. Pretending that one would never have to return. A creature resides and crawls in its cave, living unseen among the stones. Elusive, human, yet part of the rocks. Berries peek temptingly from between the leaves.

Childhood games are reimagined.

I grew up in the Harz mountain landscape. The forest sheltered me as an extended playroom. This is how I also explore it in "Recapitulation."
